MozzWear™ fabric is impregnated with a revolutionary dual action anti-bacterial formula for textiles that is odourless, colourless and does not change the feel of the textile fabric.
How is MozzWear™ fabric manufactured?
The active ingredient is tightly bonded to the textile fabric. Unlike traditional insect repellents, the insect repellent is impregnated onto the clothes you wear, not on your skin.
Which insects will MozzWear™ repel?
MozzWear™ will repel mosquitoes, ticks, ants, flies, midges and other insects. This repellent effect has been proven through extensive testing and research. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) requires extensive effectiveness data to prove the product's ability to repel these insects. Many species and varieties of ticks, mosquitoes and flies have been tested.
How does MozzWear™ work?
Mosquitoes are repelled by applying an active ingredient to textile fabric. This active ingredient creates a durable barrier that prevents re-infestation by preventing microbial growth and denying the dust mites food source. The active ingredient acts as an anti-bacterial agent. The material is impregnated at 160ºC.
How Effective is MozzWear™?
The revolutionary new chemical finish can be applied to any textile fabric and independent tests have shown the chemistry of these products to be highly effective as an insect repellent, whilst eliminating / stopping the re-infestation of dust mites. After each textile order is treated, one metre is sent to for independent laboratory testing. Only if the specifications of the order match the required test standards can the manufacturing process proceed. A laboratory certificate of conformance is issued and is kept for record purposes.
