One in four people suffer from allergies
Dramatically reduce* bacteria, mould, fungi, and dust mite colonies - causes and triggers of these illnesses and conditions that affect a quarter of all of us - by choosing MozzWear™ products.
*Independent scientific tests on treated articles have shown that MozzWear™ products can reduce dust mite numbers by 99% and completely remove microbial growth when correctly applied.
What are Dustmites?
Dust mites are arachnids, members of the spider family, that live in our mattresses, carpets, curtains and soft furnishings. They feed on the skin cells we shed. They leave behind excrement containing dangerous pathogens everywhere they go – and scientists at St George's Medical School in London have discovered that the pathogens in this excrement are proven to cause allergic reactions in humans. MozzWear™ products can help.
Asthma Sufferers
You're more likely to develop asthma - a condition in which the main air passages of your lungs (bronchial tubes) become inflamed and your airways become narrowed - if you're already sensitive to environmental allergens, including dust mites.
Cases of asthma have doubled in the last ten years and 50% of all child hospital admissions are asthma related. The pathogens in dust mite excrement, bacteria, mould and fungi are medically proven triggers and causes of asthma.
Signs and symptoms of asthma include:
- Lung congestion
- Wheezing
- Shortness of breath
If you already have asthma, dust mite allergy or exposure to dust mites can cause an increase in asthma signs and symptoms, including shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing. For this reason, taking measures to decrease the number of dust mites in your home can improve control of asthma.
Allergy Sufferers
Every night, you share your bed with about 2 million dust mites. The pathogens in dust mite excrement, bacteria, mould or fungi are known triggers.
If you have a dust mite allergy, you may exhibit the signs and symptoms of hay fever (allergic rhinitis). Dust mite allergy symptoms may include:
- Sneezing
- Runny nose
- Itchy, watery eyes
- Nasal congestion
- Itchy nose, roof of mouth or throat
- Swollen, blue-coloured skin under your eyes
- Postnasal drip
- Cough
- Irritability
- Facial pressure and pain
A dust mite allergy can range from mild to severe. A mild case of dust mite allergy may result in an occasional runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. In severe cases, the condition is chronic - resulting in, for example, persistent wheezing, sneezing, congestion and facial pressure.
Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever)
Year round hay fever can be triggered by the pathogens in dust mite excrement and mould. Symptoms include sneezing, blocked nose, itchy eyes, nose and throat, snoring and headaches.
Eczema Sufferers
The pathogens in dust mites excrement, mould and bacteria are known triggers of atopic eczema, contact dermatitis and other skin complaints.
Respiratory Disorders and Other Ailments
Dust mites, mould, bacteria and fungi are known to contribute to emphysema and bronchitis.
Pregnant Women and Unborn Babies
A recent study has highlighted that dust mite excrement inhaled by pregnant women can reach the womb and amniotic fluid, and could be a cause asthma and allergies in up to 20% of new born babies.

Babies
Although there is no single established cause, bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus found in an infants’ mattress have been linked to cot death, as well as life threatening throat infections.

Eliminate Dust Mites
All these conditions can actually be caused as well as triggered by the pathogens in dust mite excrement, bacteria, mould and fungi and may be diagnosed at any time in life, to anyone, whether a child or adult.
MozzWear™ products provide a proactive method to eliminate an invasion of Dust Mites and assist in the prevention of re-infestation.
MozzWear™ products are clinically proven to be at least 99% effective. They are environmentally friendly, user friendly, long lasting, durable, biodegradable and effective. They contain no heavy metals such as TBT or organo-chlorines. Do not emit any volatile organic compounds.
